The next theory of where the missing Flight MH370 could possibly be, started when a young boy, who was hunting for birds in the jungle of a Philippine island, claimed to have stumbled upon the main section of an aircraft – or the fuselage – full of skeletons. This conducted an investigation by local authorities on Monday.
The incident was reported by Jamil Omar whose nephew made the discovery in September – but had no idea of what it was as he has no access to media. He reported that:
There was a skeleton still in the pilot’s seat. The pilot had his safety belt on and the communication gear attached to his head and ears.
They found many skeletons, some still wearing seat belts, and more human bones nearby.
His nephew also swiped a piece of fabric to use as a blanket which turned out to be the Malaysian flag. Authorities, however, are unsure if the report is even true.
And so the saga of the missing Malaysian aircraft continues.
But reports suggest that for MH370 to have come down on remote Sugbai island, it would have had to divert from its north east course after take off and head due east towards the lower Philippines islands. Here’s a map of all the probable theories that have come out since its disappearance:
