They’re Selling This R2.2 Billion Home – Most Expensive In America [Video]

This billionaire piece of real estate is up for sale in Florida and, well, just watch the promo vid for a good laugh at dramatic, affluent flair.

Oh great, yet another billion-dollar property up for sale for us non-one-percent to gloat over – and the promo video doesn’t help either.

Just watch as a young blonde bombshell and her older, greying husband takes us on a day-in-the-life-of journey though the house. As she does basic yoga on the pristine lawn, he practices his chipping. She pretty much models her way through the house, by the pool and even while watching a movie on what seems to be an attempt at a ‘date-night’. There’s even an attractive, young housekeeper who serves cocktails bare foot – ideal for the possible affair the man of the house is capable of having. A bit harsh? Check out Gwen Stefani’s latest ordeal. That shit is real.

But still, just imagine the life – and parties – you could have. The humble abode, which sits on four and a half acres, features:

  • 11 bedrooms.
  • A master suite that includes a heated plunge pool on the balcony. Yeah.
  • More than $3 million worth of gold leaf can be found throughout.
  • An 18-seat IMAX home theater.
  • A 30-car subterranean garage.
  • A wine cellar with room for about 3,000 bottles.
  • A 1 300-gallon built-in aquarium.
  • Two guesthouses on a 3,000 square feet each and will share a pool.
  • A subterranean entertainment complex including an ice-skating rink, a nightclub, a bowling alley and a go-kart race track.
  • A 4 500-square-foot infinity pool has a swim-up bar and waterslide with a glass-bottomed hot tub is suspended above the deluxe pool.
  • An outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven.
  • A putting green.
  • Two boat docks on the Intracoastal Waterway.

Although the construction of the massive property is only in its second phase and is set to be complete in two years, the total cost of the lush building will be well over $159 million. Casual.

The owner, Robert Pereira, is the founder of Middlesex Corporation, a Massachusetts-based construction company that also has offices in Florida. He initially planned to live in the home, but decided against it for reasons unknown.

You want it? You should know what to do by now. Whether it’s this or the billionaire bunker we showed you yesterday, the more you play the MegaMillions and EuroMillions set to be drawn tomorrow, the more chance you’ll have adding around R2 billion to your investment fund.
