As the Silly Season peaks, the romance of Europe has faded as tourists have chosen other destinations in light of the pending tourist attacks that could go off at any moment in the continent’s biggest cities.
Paris especially is deserted and instead of seeing large crowds wander the streets in its major shopping and tourism districts, they are replaced by armed security forces.

But France isn’t the only country in the Northern Hemisphere to be feeling the effects of the potential crisis. Belgium, Egypt and Tunisia have also experienced a lack of tourists at their attractions.
