An open house is always a nerve-wracking time for a would be seller, a bunch of strangers strolling around your house while you worry about hearing words like ‘fixer upper’ or ‘needs a bit of love’.
Then there’s an open house where a team like this rocks up, intent only on fleecing some poor soul of their valuables. A reader actually tweeted us the link to this video on YouTube and this bit of info came with it:
Two men, working together, posing as prospective buyers, rob us during our open house.
Dave Riches also sent this in:
We live in The Vines, Constantia. We had a show house on the 14th of Feb.
The two guys in the video working together made off with a laptop, iPad, two watches and aftershave.
Another little titbit to make you dislike these men more – yes, this robbery took place on Valentine’s Day.
If you recognise one of these men don’t be afraid to let us know, we can think of a few people who would like to make their acquaintance.
