Some things just don’t go together – a mix of sherry and wine (don’t try it), Donald Trump and an informed electorate, planes and birds.
An EgyptAir plane suffered serious damage when it struck a flock of birds at London’s Heathrow Airport. There were 70 passengers on board at the time, who would have received a massive skrik as the plane made its descent.
The landing was safely pulled off, although one look at these pictures and you can see the birds weren’t so lucky.
There’s only one winner in this contest – plane one, birds zero.
