The holiday rental game is in the midst of a serious shake-up, Airbnb doing to bed and brekkies what Uber has done to the transportation game.

Here in the Cape, listings are increasing at a rapid rate, everyone cottoning on to the fact that there is serious money to be made – especially with the summer months and all that foreign currency in town.

It takes a pretty special effort to come out tops then, but one look at the listing for Everview Suite and it’s clear that this property has it going on. Top of the city’s Airbnb’s Wish List, with 15 212 red hearts, host Michelle has also been recognised abroad.

    Here’s IOL:

[Her] personal style and hospitality is so legendary that she won the “Unique Listing Award” at Airbnb’s 2015 OPEN, the host event in Paris.

Let’s head over to the Everview Suite’s Airbnb listing and have a snoop:

Not too shabby, eh? As a point of comparison THESE were the five most popular from around the world as of June.

No one is turning that place down, provided they have the R6 000 per night to spend, but if it’s inner city living peeps are after we tend to point them to Ville du Cap.

Just a stroll from Bree Street and the CBD, officially South Africa’s most visited tourist destination – what’s not to love?
