According to its definition, brunch is a mix between breakfast and lunch and can extend to 3PM.

But the time frame isn’t the only reason we love it.

Brunch is the official signal of the weekend, an excuse to pop a bottle of champagne with the first meal of the day, instantly curing your hangover from the night before – and the best thing is, you can never, ever be late for brunch as it starts as soon as you happen to roll out of bed.

But, being a serial bruncher you know all that.

You school newbies on brunching etiquette, and know where to get the best eggs benny without a second thought.

Being from Cape Town, you even know that although brunch locations are out there, new options are needed to spruce up the tradition.

    Enter HQ.

On 5th February, HQ will not only be open on a Sunday, but they will be hosting The Sunday Social Brunch, brought to you by Moet & Chandon Champagne.

With the space flowing into Heritage Square Courtyard, HQ will come alive with the sounds of live entertainment along with Belvedere Vodka Cocktail & Bloody Mary stations.

    Keen.

Tickets are R285 per person and include:

    • A welcome drink on arrival
    • Sharing platters for the table to start
    • À la carte mains with a choice between 4 options
    • Sharing platters for the table for a sweet ending

And yes, HQ’s brunch takes it one further and ends at 6PM with live entertainment including performances by:

    • Brett Aitken
    • Blanka Mazimela ( Live ) with guest vocalists
    • Jet Treger with David Watkyns on keys & trumpet

You can book your tickets HERE and follow event updates HERE.
