    Let’s assume you’re one of those peeps who promises to do your fair share of DIY around the house, but the weeks turn into months and the list keeps on lengthening.

    You’re not alone, because who is really keen to give up their precious weekend to drill this and hammer that and hang the other thing?

    I don’t want to get too technical, but DIY work is messy and laborious.

    But now and again we see something that seems so simple, we’re ashamed we didn’t think of it ourselves. That something would be a R100 piece of plastic that goes by the name of Drilby, and it’s set to change things in a big way.

    Say goodbye to taping packets or envelopes to walls. Bye.

    No more vacuuming and wiping after drilling. No more indoor dust-storms and consequent coating of furniture in dust. NO MORE.

    It might be a good time to be this covered in dust at AfrikaBurn, but it isn’t when you have to clean up the lounge:

    This ingenious little device can accommodate six different drill bit sizes, so once you’ve chosen the one you’re after it’s time to get to work.

    Simply mark your spot, insert the drill bit through the appropriate guide hole, press the Drilby firmly against the drilling surface and unleash the fury.

    All of that dust? What dust, because it’s captured by the Drilby.

    A hundred bucks to never again deal with the mess you just made? Priceless. Just imagine if every other problem could be fixed with a single buffalo bill?
