For R12 Million You Can Buy A Cracking House In St James [Images]

It used to be that the Deep South was an affordable place to buy a home, but areas like St James are also in the midst of the property boom. Pay up, folks.

Sometimes, when the mood strikes me, I like to go window shopping for houses.

I’ll check out an area that interests me, snoop around a few houses and click through the pictures, and imagine what life would be like if I could throw down some serious cash.

We know that property anywhere near the CBD is spiralling out of control, but areas like St James and Kalk Bay have also seen massive hikes in property value.

High ceilings, large open plan living areas opening onto a generous pool deck with spectacular sea views, sets this stately home apart. We live in Cape Town, pal, we’re all about that relaxed coastal lifestyle. Let’s snoop:

I’ll have me some of that.

You can be pretty stoked if you’re sitting on one of those properties that has been in the family for ages, because I don’t see prices dropping any time soon.

The Deep South, bru, you guys got it going on.
