Monday afternoon saw a heavy storm sweep through Jozi, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.
Hitting the city at around 3PM, it brought with it great balls of hail, localised flash flooding and even a tornado, leaving roofs ripped off schools, trees uprooted and vehicles damaged.
In some areas, the hailstones were reported to be the size of golf balls, causing severe damage to private property and a loss of life in Krugersdorp.
