Everyone loves to hate on Millennials, and those who are younger (Gen Z or something), for spending too much time on their phones.
That’s fair, until a quick look on Facebook reveals every retired parent compulsively sharing, liking and commenting at all hours of the day.
They’re migrating to other platforms now, too, but Facebook has been forever tarnished.
Anyway, the criticism isn’t going away any time soon, and now UK mobile provider Three is fighting back.

Created by Wieden+Kennedy London and directed by Ian Pons Jewell, the new campaign tackles the topical debate that ‘phones are bad’ by reimagining pivotal moments in history, demonstrating how much better things would have been if phones had been available – from starving cavemen ordering Deliveroo, to Henry VIII’s wives avoiding execution thanks to Tinder.
Sounds outlandish, but the ad has a few (almost) laugh out loud moments.
