    Pepsi has made some good life choices lately.

    The first was the decision to stay away from social justice themes in their advertising.

    The second was to bring Steve Carell, Cardi B, and Lil Jon together for their Super Bowl advert.

    According to Eater, this year’s ad is far more entertaining than last year’s ad featuring Cindy Crawford. It also feels just a bit edgy, thanks to the call-out of Pepsi’s competitor, Coca-Cola, at the start of the clip, and the playful acknowledgement of the brand’s status as America’s second-favourite soda.

    The end product is weird, but in a good way:
