Here’s Trump’s New R700k Room-Sized Golf Simulator [Video]

Donnie has come under fire for spending too much time on the golf course, which might be why he's added an upgrade in a room in his personal quarters.

Being president of the United States of America isn’t easy, but scheduling in a fair deal of  ‘executive time’ helps Donald Trump get through it.

In case you didn’t know, ‘executive time’ is a euphemism for watching TV, binge-eating and hate-tweeting, with the odd round of golf thrown in.

We say odd, but according to Trump Golf Count, he’s still doing alright:

The Washington Post conducted their own investigation, and put the number of times the president has played golf at just shy of 140.

Nobody wants that kind of scrutiny, though, which is why “Trump has installed a room-sized “golf simulator” game at the White House, which allows him to play virtual rounds at courses all over the world by hitting a ball into a large video screen”.

Added bonus – he doesn’t even have to waddle down the fairway.

More info from the Washington Post:

That system replaced an older, less sophisticated simulator that had been installed under President Barack Obama, according to two people with knowledge of the previous system.

Trump’s system cost about $50,000, and was put in during the last few weeks in a room in his personal quarters, a White House official said.

The official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss details of the president’s private residence, said that Trump had paid for the new system and the installation personally.

The same White House official said that Trump has yet to use the new system during that ‘executive time’, or at all.

Of the 16 courses that Trump owns around the world, three of them have the TrackMan Simulator installed, leading insiders to believe that the system is the one currently installed at the White House.

If that is the case, here’s what Donald would be looking at:

Hey, if it saves money for the US taxpayer, without Air Force One and secret agents being carted around to courses across America, maybe it’s not a bad thing.

Then again, Trump would probably do his utmost to channel any savings towards the building of his wall on the Mexican – US border.

“We’re building a wall, and my golf simulator is paying for it!”
