Rubbernecking is basically a South African national sport, so it’s no surprise that a crowd gathered at the Oceana Power Boat Club in Granger Bay, Cape Town, this past Saturday.

At some stage in the morning, reports News24, somebody dropped the ball, and a bakkie that was supposed to be towing a boat out of the water took a splash.

Thankfully, bakkies hunt in packs, and there was another on hand to tow the submerged vehicle out.

Oceana Power Boat Club management confirmed that nobody was injured in the incident. although the owner of the vehicle decided not to comment.

    Fair enough, really.
