Look, maybe you have had a few too many on a few too many occasions, but surely you can’t top this chap trying to vote on May 8.

It’s not known where the video was filmed, but I do think we have to appreciate the man’s effort in actually making it to a voting station.

Given that voter turnout was as low as 65,99% this year (out of 26 779 025 registered voters), many others in a similar state, or nursing a hangover from the night before, stayed in bed.

This guy probably wishes he had, because the video showing him worse for wear is being shared far and wide on social media.

Rumour has it he tried to vote for renowned boozer Bathabile Dlamini, only to be told she wasn’t on the ballot.
