    Tesla is in crisis.

Elon Musk has responded by hiring a man known for his viral sheep meme to run their social media.

SpaceX, on the other hand, is getting a bit of positive (free) press.

A Dutch astronomer, Marco Langbroek, captured a very cool video of a string of roughly 60 SpaceX Starlink satellites moving across the night sky, the day after they were launched into orbit.

According to Business Insider, Langbroek calculated the search orbit himself to find out when they would pass by.

He then stood ready with his camera and captured this:

The satellites were launched on Thursday evening by SpaceX. The company plans on launching up to 12 000 of the telecommunications satellites with the intent of providing worldwide internet that’s as fast as the speed of light in a vacuum.

I looked it up. That’s 299,792,458 metres per second.

Back to Langbroek, who was thrilled with his footage.

“It started with two faint, flashing objects moving into the field of view. Then, a few tens of seconds later, my jaw dropped as the ‘train’ entered the field of view,” Langbroek wrote. “I could not help shouting ‘OAAAAAH!!!!’ (followed by a few expletives…).”

You can read more about Langbroek’s reaction on his blog.

I’m looking forward to the 12 000-strong satellite sequel.
