You may have noticed that we like to poke fun at influencers, and sometimes they really do make it too easy.

We’re not alone, and there are many businesses around the world that are tired of being hit up for freebies in exchange for a post on Instagram.

One hotel even spoke about a “blogger infestation”, and there’s been a rise in what has been dubbed the ‘anti-influencers’.

However you look at it, though, there will always be space for quality content, and videos that are well-shot and well-edited.

Recently, we covered why the Klein Karoo’s Inverdoorn Game Reserve has become so popular with both tourists and locals, and then we stumbled across this video from Melissa Brown, a Capetonian who loves adventure, travel, and wildlife.

She ticked all three boxes when she visited Inverdoorn, and managed to capture its essence superbly in the video below:

    Very nicely done.

One of Inverdoorn’s biggest selling points is that it’s located within a two-and-a-half-hour drive of Cape Town, making it the premier luxury Big Five safari destination within the Karoo

Aside from the Big Five, you may also see zebras, hippos, giraffes, wildebeest, eland, and springbok, as well as more elusive creatures like the aardvark and aardwolf.

There is also the option to take a day trip that leaves from, and returns to, the Cape Town CBD, but an overnight stay (or two) really is the way to go.

To find out more about Inverdoorn’s contribution to sustaining the biodiversity of the region, wildlife, and rates, see their website or ring them on +27 (0)21 422 0013.
