One of the coolest features on the Batmobile is Batman’s ability to call the car and have it drive to him wherever he is.

Now, Tesla owners can live out their Batman fantasies with the latest upgrade to Tesla software.

According to Mashable, those with a Full Self-Driving capable car or Enhanced Autopilot package already had a Summon feature through the Tesla mobile app.

Now they have Smart Summon, and it looks like a serious vibe:

Smart Summon goes beyond its predecessor’s simple ability to remotely move the car forward and backward while outside the vehicle. Now you can set the car to navigate a parking lot and come to you — but only if the car is within your line of sight.

People obviously wanted to test it out immediately, and they did. This is what happened when Tesla owners pushed the “come to me” button on the app.

    Wait for it…

    More from Twitter:

It wasn’t all good times though…

It looks like the key to success is a completely empty parking lot.

A hashtag, #TeslaSummonIssues, started bubbling up on Twitter for all the mistakes the autonomous feature was making on real roads.

The best situation for Smart Summon would be if your Tesla was parked in a sea of Tesla vehicles in a lot and you wouldn’t have to figure out which one was yours. Or if it’s pouring rain and you’re carrying a lot of stuff.

It’s still early days, so I’m sure they’ll work out the bugs.

Until then, I’m sure the same people who videoed themselves sleeping or having sex in the self-driving cars will find a way to make this feature ridiculous.
