Fresh off winning just about every award at the 2020 Grammys, Billie Eilish recorded and released the new theme song for the 25th James Bond film, No Time to Die.

The audio for No Time To Die (also the name of the song), has been listened to well over 27 million times to date, so it’s clearly a hit.

The latest Bond trailer, released at the same time as the song, has only been viewed fewer than two million times, so Eilish is outperforming 007.

Not bad for someone who hasn’t even reached her twenties yet.

To add to the hype around the theme tune, Eilish was invited to perform it at the 2020 Brit Awards this year.

    Vulture sets the scene:

As Brit Awards host Jack Whitehall introduced her in his opening monologue, she is “the only teenager in the world who makes Greta Thunberg look lazy.”

After the “world exclusive” performance, Eilish went from “No Time to Die” to “so time to cry” when she won the show’s coveted Best International Female Solo Artist award, and thanked the London audience. “I’ve felt very hated recently,” she said, “and when I was on the stage and I saw you guys all smiling at me, it genuinely made me want to cry. And I want to cry right now, so thank you.

It’s all very emotional, not unlike Dave’s stellar rap performance on the night.

    Take it away, Billie.

    Nicely done.

This is Daniel Craig’s last outing as Bond. If Eilish keeps this up, they might be tempted to make her the next 007.
