I won’t pretend to be the kind of person that’s bothered about Miss Universe and Miss World titles, but Zozibini Tunzi deserves to be an exception to that rule.
Our Miss South Africa went on to be crowned Miss Universe in December of last year, and her story is a pretty exceptional one.
From the small Eastern Cape town of Tsolo (the 2011 census had the total population at less than 8 000) to international stardom, she’s never lost her sense of perspective.
