A rental of R220 000 a month strikes me as something aimed more at the overseas market, so it wouldn’t surprise me if this one stays on the market for a while.
I guess if you’re holding out for something closer to R180 000 a month, you might want to bide your time.
The rest of us will just ogle from a distance, and imagine what it would be like to call this three-bedroom, three-bathroom, 272 m² penthouse home.
Pam Golding’s listing refers to “opulent elegance right on the water”, adding that “the brand new Aurum development is built with luxury in mind, with a dedicated concierge, 24-hour manned security and only the finest furnishings and fittings”:
The apartment lies on its own floor, accessed via a lift from reception. 3 large en-suite bedrooms lead onto the open plan lounge and kitchen / dining area. The beautiful heated swimming pool lies right by the waters edge and the lounge by the pool with the sound of the sea.
All bedrooms include King sized beds, air conditioning, heating and have sea views. The kitchen is fully equipped and the dining table can seat 8 guests.
Wifi and daily house-keeping can be included. Chef is available by arrangement.
I’d like to think the Wi-Fi is included without additional cost, because that’s the least you can ask for when handing over R220 000 a month.
Anyway, here is a quick look around:
Let’s talk sunset views.
This ain’t half bad:
Pretty, pretty good.
Go on then, cough up the R220 000 and it’s all yours for the month.
