On Sunday, the Lose Angeles Lakers defeated the Miami Heat 106-93 in game six of the NBA Finals, and in doing so claimed their 17th NBA title.
A special shout-out to LeBron James, who claimed his fourth NBA Finals MVP, becoming the first player in history to win the award with three different franchises.
The Lakers had spoken about winning the championship to honour the memory of Kobe Bryant, and there were jubilant scenes once that title was in the bag.
Fans headed to downtown LA to celebrate the win, with footage captured by CBS News showing one fan, in particular, that was doing so in a COVID-19 wary manner:
