Over the weekend, I watched David Attenborough’s new doccie on Netflix, titled A Life On Our Planet.

You may recall that the naturalist joined Instagram to promote the doccie, and promptly smashed the world record for the fastest time to reach one million followers on the social media platform.

Sadly, that one is a tad depressing, but will hopefully serve as a kick up the backside with regards to preserving our planet’s biodiversity.

Legendary documentary filmmaker Werner Herzog’s latest project, Fireball: Visitors From Darker Worlds, promises to be less of a downer.

It will premiere on Apple TV+ on November 13, reports IndieWire:

“Fireball: Visitors from Darker Worlds” takes viewers on an extraordinary journey to discover how shooting stars, meteorites, and deep impacts have focused the human imagination on other realms and worlds, and on our past and our future.

The upcoming documentary hails from Herzog and volcanologist Clive Oppenheimer, who previously appeared in Herzog’s “Encounters at the End of the World” and “Into the Inferno.”

As with all Herzog films, you know you’re going to get a superb soundtrack.

    Let’s see some fireballs:

It would be very much in keeping with 2020’s aesthetic if we were to get struck by a massive meteor before year-end.
