You might have missed the 27th annual SAG Awards that just happened, but that’s why you come to us.

In this pandemic era of awards ceremonies, we won’t be getting the good old classics; no red carpet, no pretty dresses and suits, no hosts, no shiny set and definitely no afterparties.

It’s bleak but hey, we do the best with what we’ve got.

SAG seems to have done a stellar job with the production of the ceremony, and although they broke tradition, their decision to pre-tape an hour-long ceremony, created a neater, less glitchy (we’re looking at you Golden Globes) celebration of TV and film from the past year.

As per HuffPost, Daniel Kaluuya (top left in the above image) won Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role for portraying Fred Hampton in Judas and the Black Messiah.

Chadwick Boseman (bottom left in the above image) won for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role for his performance as Levee Green in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.

Viola Davis (bottom right in the above image) won Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role for Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.

Lastly, Youn Yuh-Jung (top right in the above image) as Soon-ja in Minari became the first Korean to ever win in the category for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role.

Progress sure does look good!
