Bill Murray has a habit of turning up in rather strange places.
As a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan, he is no stranger to Wrigley Field, the team’s home stadium.
He was there again this past weekend to celebrate the first time the stadium has operated at 100% capacity since 2019, and decided to see if his lungs could do the same.
After pumping up the crowd with an impromptu speech, reports USA Today, he then serenaded them with the iconic ‘Take Me Out to the Ball Game’ during the seventh-inning stretch:
You have to respect the degree of self-confidence.
He also guested on the Marquee Sports Network during the game, and was seen strolling around with a drink in hand:

Let’s hope he eventually found a seat, with greater success than that infamous 2015 fail:
Never stop being you, Bill Murray.
