Anybody who has ever wielded a golf club understands the immense frustration that comes with an errant shot.

It is a sport of decorum, though. You do your best to keep the frustration inside and then you smash an extra stiff dop at the clubhouse to soothe the pain.

During the club championship at Cranbourne Golf Course in Melbourne recently, grace and manners went in the bin during an extraordinary meltdown captured on camera.

Fox Sports reports the disagreement between two players quickly descending into an “expletive-laden yelling match”.

Let that be your clue that there is plenty of bad language in the clip. Just when you think things are about to calm down, another gasket is blown:

There’s no news on whether there were repercussions for any of the parties involved.

My guess is that they’ve played in their final club champs.

It’s good enough for the meltdown of the week. Never forget that in Benoni, though, they really let their hair down.
