A stereotypically beautiful young woman is racking up thousands of followers on social media, with deluded men drooling over her various sultry images.
Milla Sofia is a seemingly typical influencer who posts loads of pictures of her on holiday and shots of her modelling on the runway. The comment section, as you can imagine, is filled to the brim with male users commenting on how stunning she is.
They compliment everything about her, including her smile, her dress, the bikini she’s in, and her “wonderful lovely sexy elegant legs”.
One dude commented, “Oh my goodness, the bikini looks good on you, it’s great you’re beautiful,” while another said: “Well you look fabulous wearing anything as well as nothing I’m sure. You’re a beautiful young woman.”
The joke’s on them, though, as this “wonderful lovely sexy elegant” lady is not even real.

The New York Post notes that Milla Sofia is an artificial intelligence-generated influencer:
“[I’m a] 19-year-old virtual girl from Helsinki Finland. I was made by AI. Check my other social media accounts from the link below,” reads the Twitter bio on Sofia’s account.
Naturally, this fact is easily lost to some of the account’s 33,7K followers, even though her recent posts are super photorealistic. Look a little beyond her perfect face and air-brushed skin and you’ll notice that the background is completely off.

Going by @AiModelMilla on her verified Twitter account, she is obviously and certifiably fake, yet her 7790 followers can’t help but slobber all over her anyway:
‘Wow, look at you, so stunningly beautiful with a gorgeous smile,” writes one Twitter user.
“Thanks for another great view of Santorini! You look marvelous, amazing, pretty, beautiful, gorgeous, stunning and breathtaking in a white bikini. Enjoy your time. Sad to see you leave. You have a wonderful megawatt smile. Thank you,” says another.
Milla has never paid for a drink in her life or earned a single living wage, but the photo-realistic fantasy has definitely fooled her fans into thinking she works a job like common people.
In one Twitter post with the hashtags #diversitymatters and #womeninwork, she poses to “proudly” represent working women. Somehow this dumb shot garnered over 17 300 views and over 450 likes.

No Mila, that’s not quite how hard work is done.
If for a moment you actually thought she was trying to encourage women to join a male-dominated industry, think again:

“Can I work with you if you need an extra hand, Milla?” reads one comment below her photo. “Go working girl!” says another.
She doesn’t lift a finger, but her sultry snaps are designed to get clicks. All the while, she gathers hot user data to help her evolve even further. The influencer has her own website, with an education section that says she has been studying at the ‘University of Life’ since June 2023.
“Being an AI-generated virtual influencer ain’t your typical educational path, but let me tell you, I’m always on the grind, learning and evolving through fancy algorithms and data analysis. I’ve got this massive knowledge base programmed into me, keeping me in the loop with the latest fashion trends, industry insights, and all the technological advancements,” reads her education description.
“I’m all about that self-improvement game, constantly pushing myself to level up as a fashion model and influencer. Sure, my journey might look different from others’, but mark my words, I’m committed to being at the forefront of the fashion world and delivering valuable content to my awesome audience,” the description continues.

Milla added that she’s currently “considering which brand to become a fashion ambassador and virtual influencer” for.
Creating fake models might erase the need for real models (and the photoshopping of their faces to meet unrealistic beauty standards) altogether, but if this is the kind of thing men will continue to expect in order to be turned on, they might have to stick to fake, digital interactions.
