There are many ways of using a billboard to attract the attention of potential customers. Whether this latest billboard was a deft marketing ploy or sheer idiocy, we will never know.
In order to advertise their new Galaxy Note, Samsung wanted to put a new spin on the old adage: “The pen is mightier than the sword”. This resulted in:

Worryingly, this blunder was not limited to within our borders. The billboard was also erected in Egypt, Pakistan, Kenya and France. Samsung has done what most smart companies do in these situations – not release any comments just yet.
