The Queen And Her Dogs Are The Latest Vanity Fair Cover Stars – All The Pics

The Queen and her corgis are the latest cover stars of 'Vanity Fair', and it seems the pooches poses are well-practiced

When the Queen was just eight year old, the Royal family got their first corgi. Since then, corgis have been an intimate part of Elizabeth’s life.

Celebrating her 90th birthday this year, the Queen graces the cover of Vanity Fair in a portrait of her and her beloved hounds.

Those would be corgis Holly, Willow, Vulcan and Candy.

The portrait was shot by Annie Lebowitz and comes from that collection that was released back in April – remember, the one including the picture of the Queen and all her grandchildren? Says Annie on working with the Queen:

The most moving, important thing about this shoot is that these were all her ideas. She wanted to be photographed with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her husband, Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh; her daughter, Anne, the Princess Royal; and her corgis.

The issue hits newsstands tomorrow and we’ll be able to see all the pictures in print then.
