A new survey was recently done of the global capital cities of finance, innovation and tourism. The report graded 26 metros from Stockholm to Santiago on business opportunities, culture, livability, and innovation. Johannesburg, the only African city on the list, came in at number 25 – basically beating only Mumbai. New York City, Toronto and San Francisco took the top three spots.
For the complete list and ranking system, have a look here. Each city’s best and worst qualities are listed inside each slide. For example: Tokyo ranks at number one in global corporate headquarters, but last out of all the cities in cost of living.
