Obama Fried Chicken Restaurant Causes Controversy

A new fast-food restaurant in Beijing has caused controversy for using a cartoon caricature of Barack Obama in an imitation of KFC’s Colonel Sanders’ face. Its name, Obama Fried Chicken (OFC), has also upset some people. The slogan reads: “We’re so cool, aren’t we?” Magic.
The Rev. Al Sharpton, completely unamused about this.
Among those upset is the reverend Al Sharpton, who had the following to say:
It’s insulting, offensive and plays to racial stereotypes. What makes it even worse is that when we deal with this global competition between the US and China, for them to be mocking the leader of the free world, I find it even more appalling.
