Vinyl Sales Increased Massively In 2013

So much so that online music and CD sales deceased. Yowsers. You guys are getting serious about your vinyl, eh?
CD sales declined by 14,5% last year, while vinyl sales increased by more than 30%. Some 4,5 million units were sold in 2012, and last year a whopping 6 million records flew off the shelves.
Even online digital sales dipped by 8,4%, as streaming sites become ever more popular.
Statista‘s chart, below, shows the rise of vinyl LP sales in the US between 1993 and 2013.
