After the first round IPL auction, quite a few of the SA players available are still up for grabs. The big winner so far is Yuvraj Singh, with Royal Challengers Bangalore buying him for a cool $2.33 million. The second highest price tag was for Dinesh Karthik. The Delhi Daredevils bought him for $2.08 million.
Of the 70 players sold in the first round of auctions, Kevin Pietersen was the most expensive foreign player bought for $1.5 million by Delhi. Kallis was the pick of the SA cricket players, fetching $887,000 from KKR. Five other SA cricket players sold for the following amounts:
Faf du Plessis went to the Chennai Super Kings for $763,000.
Quinton de Kock went to Delhi Daredevils for $562,000.
JP Duminy was sold for $353,000 to the Delhi Daredevils.
Morne Morkel went to the Kolkata Knight Riders for $450,000.
And lastly Albie Morkel went to the Royal Challengers Bangalore for $385,000.
