Following a court ruling in support of commercial drones, one San Francisco based company has jumped at the opportunity to launch their pharmacy drone delivery service. If you happen to see toothpaste, nail clippers, deodorants, vitamins and the likes, falling from the sky in San Francisco, don’t be alarmed, just blame QuiQui.
For $1 added to your bill, QuiQui will deliver drugstore goods using a fleet of aerial drones. They are currently inviting participants for beta testing of their system. The company states that they are in the process of trying to get permission to deliver prescription drugs, until then customers must be content with the other knick-knacks available at a pharmacy.
