The Boeing P-8 Poseidon is one of the most advanced search and surveillance aircraft in the world. It was used in the search of the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370. Take a look at his behemoth of the skies.

Although the Poseidon excels primarily at surveillance, this massive Boeing can look after itself with a massive arsenal consisting of torpedoes, free-fall bombs, depth charges, and air-to-surface missiles. This multifunctional aircraft is suited for long-range anti-submarine warfare, anti-surface warfare, surveillance and reconnaissance tasks.

With its underbelly covered in high optic cameras, its nose housing an AN/APY-10 radar and a number of other advanced sensors, the Poseidon was seen as the perfect tool to go looking for the missing MH370.
