Sadly this concept robot from Toshiba, named ‘ChihiraAico’, hasn’t caused any awkward waistband tucks from our tech junkies.
It may one day serve a vital function in society, however, as a Toshiba rep told Mashable:
The concept is part of their human smart community, which promotes smarter living with energy, healthcare and storage. So, ChihiraAico could be put to work as a healthcare professional to assist the elderly or persons with disabilities, a service industry professional that will take your food order or even a cheerleader.
Yes, that does sound impressive, but the proof is in the pudding. Watch the video and see for yourself if robots are halfway to replacing us pesky humanoids.
