There are a few things we talk about a fair bit on this here site of ours – the mountain, the sea, the awards this city keeps winning and the hope that sooner or later someone will come along and we won’t have to talk about the Kardashians / Jenners/ Biebers.

Then there’s braais, standing around and sinking a few cold ones with mates and enjoying the outdoors, we talk about those an awful amount too. The thing is, that is something all of us Saffas can identify with, it’s in our DNA and it’s one hell of an excuse to gather the people that matter to us most.

In the spirit of the braai let us then tell you where you grown up peeps should be getting your wood, both to save yourself some moola and to ensure that you are not running around town like a loser trying to find wood.

Our friends over at The Wood Guys offer fantastic prices but also a promise to be eco-friendly, where possible sourcing only alien vegetation to get the flames roaring.

They supply dry wood all year round, and stack them for you, for residential and hospitality needs in the Western Cape with a couple of specials not to be missed…

    Laat ons braai.
