There are many glorious tales of passive-aggressive notes. Left behind by irate housemates, disturbed strangers or anonymous online commentators, they are, at best, a cheeky nod to people’s dickish ways.

The Telegraph put together some of the most interesting ones left on car windows and some, I must say, are wonderful.

From targeting people who love taking up two parking spaces, to those who just own a creepy van, here are a few of my favourites:
