The social media battle of “most followers” is a constant one, although it’s generally rotated amongst the top-tier celeb group made up of Bieber, Swift, Gomez, and the Kardashians/Jenners.

Then, due to her fling with Orlando Bloom and his close relationship with Selena, Katy Perry got thrown into the mix and subsequently gained the most followers on Twitter.

With 89.2 million followers on Instagram (up from 69.9 in March when we announced she came in at top spot) Selena Gomez just beat Justin Bieber’s pic with 4 million likes. Although Justin’s pic featured Selena, in this one she is flying solo, along with a Coca-Cola bottle:

I mean, I’m not too sure what made people like this one particularly – but cool, good for you Selena. I just wish you would tell people Coca-Cola isn’t really good for you at all, but I guess we have sugar taxes and Skin Renewal to do that for us.
