Samuel L. Jackson And Jessie Usher Are Back For A New ‘Shaft’ Film [Trailer]

The Shaft series is comprised of neo-noir action-crime movies centred around three police detectives – John Shaft, his nephew John Shaft II, and the former’s son, John Shaft III.
The films have been running since the ’70s, and now they’re about to have a revival.
Kenya Barris, the creator of Black-ish, is bringing two generations of Shafts, Samuel L. Jackson and Jessie Usher, back to pass the torch to the next generation, reports The Verge.
It looks great, which isn’t always the case for these kinds of projects:
