Spoiler alert – if you haven’t seen Game of Thrones, season eight, episode three yet, close this story immediately.

One more time – read the above, because we ain’t in that spoiling game.

Last week, we ran through a behind-the-scenes look at the second episode of season eight, and now we’re going to talk about episode three.

If you’re still recovering from all the drama, you aren’t alone.

Let’s take a moment to remember the dead…

Jorah “Friendzone” Mormont – survives greyscale and dies protecting Dany…obviously.

Lyanna Mormont – the most badass 10-year-old to ever kill an undead giant.

Theon Greyjoy – first his man-parts, now his life.

Melisandre – the only character to die of old age when everyone else is getting killed by White Walkers.

And the other ones – may they rest in social media comment sections.

If you need some closure and a little insight into what the hell happened, HBO has shared a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the monumental episode.

    Here’s Highsnobiety:

The 40-minute clip finds the Game of Thrones crew members detailing how the epic battle came to life, while we also get to hear from the cast. HBO provides insight into the shooting schedule for “The Long Night,” as the cast and crew discuss weathering harsh filming conditions.

We also find out how special effects were added post-production, in addition to witnessing director Miguel Sapochnik talk us through the filming process.

Enjoy, and when you’re done, check out the teaser for episode four below.

    Cersei better watch out:

Catch Game of Thrones first on Showmax.
