It’s that time of year again when we celebrate everything that makes South Africa great.

    Heritage Month is upon us.

On September 24, in particular, on Heritage Day, South Africans reflect on our diverse cultures, beliefs, and traditions.

Some refer to it as ‘Braai Day’, but that’s just one of the many ways that we celebrate all things local and lekker with friends and family.

Proudly South African company Fitch & Leedes is joining the party by kicking that dop you’ll use to toast another Heritage Month up a notch, and have launched a limited edition #ProudlySouthAfrican can design:

When it comes to mixers, fine malts, brandies, gin, and vodka deserve nothing but the best.

Delicately carbonated, superbly balanced, and infused with the world’s finest flavours, Fitch & Leedes is guaranteed to elevate your favourite tipple to new heights.

Great, now I’m in the mood for a braaibroodjie and a G&T.

Add a South African flag into the mix and you’re on your way to flying our colours in the best possible way.

    Seriously, who doesn’t love a G&T?

You can stock up that bar fridge with some special edition craft mixers here, or just look out for them in stores. They’re loud and proud, and hard to miss.

Fitch & Leedes is also sending out a reminder that in the spirit of Heritage Month, and having all weathered a tough lockdown period together, it’s more important than ever to support local businesses.

The alcohol industry took a serious knock whilst sales were banned, which is why Fitch & Leedes has launched a campaign to encourage you to shop local.

They’ve made it easy by compiling an extensive list of distilleries that need your support, all of which provide a quality companion to that tonic water, including our favourite, Cape Town Gin.

When we support local businesses, we support each other.

And that, friends, is what Heritage Month is all about.
