The saying goes that the best things in life are free, which may explain why Discovery Vitality points are so addictive.

If you haven’t walked past somebody talking about scoring a free smoothie through exercise, have you even lived?

Of course, there are multiple benefits to racking up the points, not least of which is staying healthy along the way.

Next month, Consequence Private Wealth is hosting five Wellness Points days, and Discovery Health members can score up to 7 500 points for a fitness assessment, and up to 22 500 points for a health check-up.

Discovery Health members get the health check-up free, which is all the more reason to make sure you bookmark these dates.

    Here are the basic details:

    • Venue: Consequence Private Wealth offices, 1st Floor, Newlands Quarter, corner of Dean and Main Streets, Newlands.
    • Dates: Monday, October 19, to Friday, October 23.
    • Cost: The fitness assessment is R445 per person, which can be claimed back from your medical aid savings account, with payment possible via card, SnapScan, or cash.
    • Bookings: Hourly sessions from 8AM to 4PM each day. Please email Nazeema at nazeemas@consequence.co.za to book.

In accordance with COVID-19 protocol, windows and doors will remain open to allow for fresh air, and sanitisers will be in place, along with other safety measures.

While you’re there, you might also consider your financial health, and the team at Consequence Private Wealth is waiting to get your affairs in order.

After all, the consequences of decisions made today will unfold over a lifetime based on the sound principles applied at their inception.
