Even though he doesn’t hold the record for most Grand Slam men’s singles titles, Roger Federer may well be remembered as the greatest male tennis player of all time.
His on-court achievements are just one part of why he is so revered around the world, and he’s retiring with a wonderful legacy behind his name.
Federer racked up eight wins at Wimbledon, although it seems that fact may have slipped past security guards at the All England Club.
Appearing on The Daily Show to chat with Trevor Noah, the Swiss maestro recounted the time he was almost bounced from entering the premises:
