While some of us have been battling the traffic around Camps Bay or Muizenberg this festive season, Trevor Noah and his Saffa buddies have been living the life in Costa Rica.
The comedian and his local friends often go on vacation during the Christmas period, and this year happened to be the Central American tropical paradise.
While Noah himself hasn’t shown off his trip on the ‘Gram, complete with jet skiing and river rafting, his friends have done it all for him.
TimesLIVE rounded up the pics and videos shared by author Khaya Dlanga, Kaya 959 DJ Sizwe Dhlomo, and 947 breakfast host Anele Mdoda.
Also at the get-together was former Miss South Africa Tamaryn Green’s husband, entrepreneur Ze Nxumalo, and Anele’s six-year-old son Alakhe, who had fun with his “uncles”.

Last year, Noah spent some time in Cape Town, bringing his American actress girlfriend at the time (Minka Kelly) with him to meet the fam.
This year, no lady-friend seemed to be in tow.
