This competition has become somewhat of an American tradition on the 4th of July. The aim of the competition is simple – eat as many hot dogs as you can in the 10 minute time frame.
Joey “Jaws” Chestnut took the crown on Thursday afternoon and wait for it, this is Chestnut’s seventh year of winning the men’s title. How many hot dogs can you eat in 10 minutes? Chestnut managed to down 69 hot dogs. He won the $10,000 prize and the champion’s belt for his efforts.
Jaws couldn’t have done it without his girlfriend, Neslie standing in front of him and cheering him on.
