These are troublesome times for lad’s magazines. With internet porn just a few clicks away, the famous Nuts magazine is one of the first to fall. Eleanor Mills, editorial director at the UK Sunday Times, says that Nuts’ closure is a “sign of progress.” Mills, not a fan of women’s portrayal in media as sex objects, might consider this a hollow victory, as “the reason it’s closing fills [her] with slight despair.”
Adios, Nuts. We’ll pour some liquor to the curb in your memory.
