Pope Francis seems cool enough…
… and in all honesty anyone who looks that great in a helmet has to be cool. You basically have to ooze radness out of your every pore. I’ll say it right now: have you seen him in his Popemobile?
Anyway, The Pope was in Naples the other day, and if you concentrated in history classes in school you would know that the pizza comes from there. Whilst cruising in his Popemobile greeting his many fans on the streets, Don Ernesto pizzeria hand delivered him a pizza. It was topped with Buffalo Ricotta, Mozzarella Provolone cheese, yellow Vesuvius tomatoes, and a personalised breadstick stamp that read “Il Papa”.
The proud pizzeria posted a video of the delivery to their Facebook with the (translated) caption:
The delivery of our pizza to Pope Francis fills us with joy and emotion. Yesterday will remain an unforgettable day for us, forever!
We have service like this in Cape Town, you know. Butler’s Pizza always delivers on time, and they will find you wherever you are. They saved my life once when I had sprained my ankle near my house and the guy delivering my pizza picked me up and drove me home. Now that is good service.
Back to the Pope’s pizza though. Three cheeses and Vesuvias tomatoes? It’s 11am and I am craving a pizza.
