Did you ever get to see that made-for-tv movie ‘Sharknado‘? Well, the creators of the disaster film which features a freak hurricane that swamps Los Angeles and has thousands of sharks terrorise the waterlogged populace are back with another diamond: Dead 7. Here’s the synopsis:
A post-apocalyptic Western follows a group of gunslingers as they look to rid a small town of a zombie plague. Feature a 90s boy band extravaganza!
So. Many. Genres.
Featuring members of 90s boy bands, we have: Backstreet Boys’ A.J. McLean, Nick Carter and Howie D, *NSYNC’s Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick, 98 Degrees’ Jeff Timmons and O-Town. Where’s Justin?!
The boys then got together to create a little theme song for the flick, which has also been made for television (thank the higher powers that may be). But wow, the song really is awful. It’s as if they took all those cheesy one liners from way back and mashed them into something that works. And it’s not very Western, but I guess no one really cares.
