Is there a place online where people can meet and fuel their collective outrage?

Yes there is, and in case you don’t know by now it’s called Twitter.

The latest uproar is to do with a tweet sent by Ellen DeGeneres, using THAT viral photo of Usain Bolt.

No, not the one up top, taken when Bolt appeared on Ellen’s show, but rather the photo that showed how far ahead of the competition Usain really is.

Now one look at the photo and you know what’s coming…

Was her tweet misguided –  yes. Should she have sent it out – no.

Ellen has met Usain, Usain has met Ellen – by all accounts they got on just fine. But let’s get outraged on their behalf, because that’s what social media is for, ne?

I don’t watch Ellen’s show, so I’m not some diehard fan turning a blind eye to a daft tweet. You’ve been warned Ellen, don’t tweet anything that might ever be construed in the wrong way.
